A comedy set in the summer of 1987 and centered around a recent high school grad who takes a nowhere job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world. We follow James an almost awkward teenager working through the summer at an adventure park to save up to go to Uni. Whilst their he falls in love with a hot girl Em, and proceeds to try and woo her, in the way teenage boys do. A great little comedy flick, with enough awkwardness to keep the momentum of the film going. Its the same kind of film as Zombieland or Superbad (although i have not seen this film to provide an accurate comparison).
Overall I found the film amusing, lots of laugh out loud moments. A little predictable but amusing all the same. Not the best film of this kind of comedy I have seen but worth a watch. A great film for those saturday nights in with pudding and a glass of wine. A good film to relax to, and de-stress to.
