St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold - Oliver Parker
The legend of Fritton's gold is the sequel film to St Trinians. St Trinians is a boarding school for wayward girls, who have no rules and lots of fun. This film focuses on them going on a treasure hunt for legendary pirates booty and getting up to lots of mischief on the way.
This is the kind of great British film, that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, and preferable watched with a glass of wine. Ie makes very good girls night in film. Its got lots of British references and british jokes, and in places can be quite funny (or is that the wine talking?).
I quite like the Trinan's films, makes you wish school days were that much fun. They are lighthearted, easy to watch and makes you proud to be British. Plus seeing Rupert Everett in drag is quite amusing. Worth a watch.
